Aston Villa midfielder Kellyman to sign new long-term contract

Aston Villa midfielder Omari Kellyman is reportedly set to sign a new long-term contract with the club.

The 18-year-old joined Aston Villa in March 2022 after making his debut at the Derby County youth academy. He has made two first-team appearances for Aston Villa so far.

This season, Kelliman has appeared for Emery’s Aston Villa against Hibernian in the Europa League and against Everton in the Carabao Cup. He has also made substitute appearances in a couple of Premier League games.

The youngster’s impressive performances for the Red and Blue have reportedly prompted Aston Villa to sign him on a new long-term contract. It is understood that Aston Villa had been hoping to sign him to a long-term contract once he was eligible.

Kellyman recently moved to England from Northern Ireland. His mother was born in Northern Ireland so he was eligible to play for Northern Ireland, but he chose to play for the Three Lions.
